In 2014, after four years of research, my wife Dagmar and I published our trilingual photo documentary book titled “From Whale Hunting to Whale Watching”. It provides the reader with a lot of interesting information on whales and whaling.
It is a must-read for everybody planning a whale watching trip during his holiday and certainly one of the best souvenirs to take home from the Azores. In our holiday apartment, you will find a copy of the book at your disposal. You can also purchase your own copy directly from us if you wish.

We are a German couple who have been living on São Miguel, the main island of the Azorean archipelago, for more than twenty years.
Apart from German, we speak English, French and Portuguese.
